Physical Education

Physical education classes work in a variety of areas such as kicking, catching, and role playing. The students need to be in comfortable clothing that allows for freedom of movement. Sneakers that are fastened properly are required footwear for participation. I have a safety rule that applies to grades 4, 5, and 6, that removes a student from play if their sneaker comes off during class. A flying shoe can injure another child or turn a student's ankle. All students in Barkhamsted are encouraged to try their individual best as well as exhibit good sportsmanship.
